Why there are so many press texts in this social networking plattform?
A community is about writing tips, not getting ready made pr texts...
can tourist offices please stop pushing in content without use?

Hi lillyofthevalley. I am sorry that you see it this way, but if we can get more real people tho
write their tips and thought abut austria, the tourist office texts will become irrelevant.

To Participate, you just write a tip (click the "share tip" button) and there you check the

ski at once, but i have no idea about camping possibilities there.

Hi!
Dont´know if it has to be in carinthia, but i know a camping site in salzburg which is next to a spa. It´s called "BERTAHOF". check out under: http://www.bertahof.at/
you can go there in summer as well as in winter. There´s a bus stop right at the camping site and the spa + ski slopes are only a stone´s throw (approx.2 km) away. There are actually two spa´s, one is called Alpentherme http://www.alpentherme.com/ and teh other one http://www.felsentherme.com/. What´s the difference?? Check it out.
Well, alpentherme for example has "special theme nights" as f.exp. a casino night where you can try yourself on the roulette table or special full moon offers. Every now and then there is music there as well as they have special offers for guest.
maybe that´s interesting for you.... for skiing there is also sportgastein and the slopes of gastein...so you have the choice. sportgastein is very high above sea level so there´s plenty of snow in winter....

Hi Emma!
I´d recommend to go to Zell am See. It´s a small medieval town about 1 1/2 hours drive from salzburg and it´s next to a lake and also the mountains where you can go skiing are nearby. it´s a well known ski resort. http://www.zellamsee.com/
if that´s to far for you from the town of salzburg i would go to the region of "fuschlsee" instead. They have beautiful lakes and also mountains there. In winter time there is a nice christmas market there.. actually in 3 villages around the lake of "wolfgangsee" you can go by boat from one christmas market to another. they offer traditional food, "glühwein" - which is kind of mulled wine, as well as traditional gifts and christmas stuff.
there´s a really really nice hotel there, although it´s a bit expensive but i would love to go there one day. it´s called "weisses rössl" and it has a swimming pool integrated in the lake of wolfgangsee. this means you can go swimming in winter, when the lake is frozen but you are swimming in hot water and watch people iceskating. the scenery is fantastic, the lake and the sparkling mountains nearby. http://www.weissesroessl.at/en-index.shtml
